The Stuart Broncos finally got their season underway Thursday night as they hosted a double triangular, going 1-1.
In the first game of the evening, the Broncos struggled with communication, eventually falling to Elgin Public/Pope John 13-25 and 11-25.
Harlee Fischer recorded four kills in the match to lead the Broncos.
They then had some time to recollect themselves before playing the Clearwater-Orchard Cyclones in the final game of the evening, winning 25-20 and 25-12.
Stuart now turns it’s attention to the Elgin Public/Pope John Double Triangular September 6.
