There's no reason to be bored July first through the fourth in Stuart, as the town plans numerous activities to celebrate the nation's birthday.

The festivities begin Wednesday, July 1st with the firemen's BBQ at 5:00 pm, followed by Family Fun Night. Bring the entire family to the Stuart Auditorium and Greater Sandhills parking lot for inflatables, games, and snow cones--all for free!
An ice cream social and cruise night are also on the evening's agenda.

The Nebraska State Rodeo will begin Thursday evening at the Stuart Rodeo grounds beginning at 7:30 pm, followed by drink specials and music at the Cast Iron Bar and Grille until 1:30 am.

The Rodeo continues Friday night, and Whiskey Bent will play for the street dance from 9:00 pm until 1:00 am, with the Beer Garden open until 2:00 am.

Don't stay out too late, or you'll miss the fun run at the park starting at 8:00 am. The Fourth of July Parade will begin at 10:30 am, with the theme "Rockin' Through the Years." Games and activities for all kinds will take place at the park at 1:30 pm, as well as Bingo, Bathtub races, duck races, and stock car races. The fireworks will round out the celebration at 10:00 pm.

See the flier below for the full list of details and make sure to thank all the sponsors that make this celebration happen!
