Atkinson Makes Early Exit At Area Tournament In Neligh

The Atkinson Juniors' season came to an end in heartbreaking fashion on Saturday at the hands of Valentine in the C1 Area Junior Legion Tournament in Neligh.

Atkinson looked to have the game in hand after scoring in the second, third, fourth and six to enter the final frame ahead of Valentine 7-3. However, Valentine powered back with four runs in the final frame to knock Atkinson from the tournament and keep the season alive.
