Officials have issued citations after a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run was found in Grand Island.
The Holt County Sheriff's Office, assisted by the Grand Island Police Department, located the vehicle2\ in Grand Island.
The accident occurred on November 4, when a vehicle driven by Rosalind Diaz-Carpio was westbound on Hwy 20 when they struck a deer. Diaz-Carpio got out of the vehicle when he was struck by a Trailblazer.
The Trailblazer was driven by Marvyn Arta-Parez.
Arita-Perez alleged that he was not sure what he had stuck. He was issued a citation for leaving the scene of an injury accident and no operator's license.
Rosalind Diaz-Carpio, the victim of the hit-and-run accident, has been released from the hospital and is recovering from his injuries.
