Holly Green, a student at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, is collecting stories for a documentary and publication of the Cowboy Trail.

Green, along with Professor Jake Jacobsen, will be traveling the Nebraska Cowboy Trail from June through July collecting stories from residents in towns along the trail for the documentary. This project is funded thanks to a Humanities Nebraska grant with support from the University of Nebraska-Kearney.

Green and Jacobsen will spend time in many different communities along the trail. They will travel from Valentine to O’Neill June 25th and 26th. They then plan to return to the area July 27th through the 29th, traveling from Long Pine to O’Neill.

They are asking that anyone that would like to share a story in regards contact them to set up a time to do an interview for the documentary and publication. Anyone wishing to share a story should contact Jake Jacobs at (308) 440-3946 or through his e-mail at jacobsenjl1@unk.edu.
