Thompson, Hahlbeck Have Sights Set On Gold

Two O'Neill wrestlers have a shot at bringing back some first-place hardware on Saturday.

At 195, Bailey Thompson will fight for the gold medal on Saturday after taking down Ryan Worm of David City. He will face Ethan Gabriel of Ord.

At 220, Jason Hahlbeck won a battle of unbeatens when he took down Garrett Davidson of Cross County/Osceola. He will attempt to bring home a gold medal Saturday when he takes on Aaron Hinojosa of Chase County.

At 145, Caden Moore suffered just his second loss of the season when he fell to Keegan Pope of Syracuse. He will take on Spencer Warner of Louisville on Saturday.

In the consolations of 152, Cauy Shaw guaranteed himself a medal when he took down Joel Meyers of Broken Bow.
