O'Neill Wins ESU 8 Quiz Bowl Championship

O'Neill Public won the annual ESU 8 High School Quiz Bowl in Neligh on Wednesday.

The team started out winning the first three rounds against Battle Creek, West Holt and Plainview before falling to Verdigre. They battled their way back through the loser's bracket with wins over Elgin Public, Neligh-Oakdale, Verdigre and a double-win over Madison to seal the championship.
