O'Neill Travels To Neligh For Fifth And Sixth Grade Honor Band

On Saturday, April 29th, thirty elementary band students from O’Neill traveled to Neligh to rehearse and perform in the 9th Annual Neigh-Oakdale Elementary Honor Bands.

They rehearsed for several hours prior to their 4:30 p.m. concert.

​Directing the bands for the day were the husband and wife combo of Gail Carpenter-Johnson and Chris Johnson. Chad Barnhill composed, and directed the percussion ensemble. Nate Metschke was the host and creator of the honor band.
