O’Neill St. Mary’s High School teacher Paula Atkeson Named Archdiocesan Teacher of the Year

Each January, Catholic schools and parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Omaha are invited to submit nominations for Educator of the Year.

This year the prestigious honor was awarded to O’Neill’s own St. Mary’s High School teacher and guidance counselor Paula Atkeson.

The recipients of the award are chosen based upon their strong personal commitment to Catholic education and their extraordinary service to their students and school. Ms. Atkeson will be honored at the Archbishop’s Dinner for Education in September. Each honoree also receives a $5,000 award.
