O'Neill Boys Track Team Earn Four Gold Conference Medals

The O'Neill Eagles boys track team placed second at the Mid State Conference Track Meet in O'Neill on Monday.

The 4x800 Meter Relay team of Grant Johnston, Nathaniel Jennings, Ehric Strope, and Blake Johnston took home the gold with a time of 8:28.07.

Grant Johnston also finished first in the 3200 Meter Run.  

Walker Liewer continued a strong season by taking first in the discus with a throw of 158' 6".

​Alex Thramer would round out the top finishers for O'Neill by winning the 300 Meter Low Hurdles with a time of 41.83.

Teams competing at the Mid State Conference were: Boone Central/Newman Grove, Battle Creek, Crofton, Pierce, Guardian Angels, Hartington CC, Norfolk Catholic, O'Neill and Wayne.
