O'Neill Band Receives Superior Rating And Colorguard Award

On Wednesday, the O'Neill High School Screamin' Eagle Marching Band performed their field show at the Pierce Marching Contest.

The Eagle band received a Superior rating along with the Most Outstanding Colorguard Award. This was the third straight year the band earned the Colorguard award.

The show this year is entitled "Star Wars" inspired by the upcoming Star Wars movie. Selections the band plays include: Battle Of The Heroes from Episode III, Imperial March, Princess Leia Theme, Cantina Band and the Star Wars Main Theme.

 "I am grateful for having a band that can step it up and deliver," said Trizila.

The band will conclude their marching season when they travel to Schuyler on Saturday, October 17. ​
