Lopez Signs To Play Soccer For Northeast Community College

An O'Neill native recently signed on to the Northeast Community College new women’s soccer team for 2016. 

Blanca Lopez has signed to play forward at Northeast. Previously, she played club soccer for four years.

“I have had the pleasure of seeing and coaching Blanca during some club tournaments,” Head Coach Chad Miller said. "She is a smart player and has good ball skills. She comes from a town without high school soccer, but there is a great love for soccer (in O’Neill). She will be a great addition to the women’s soccer program this fall.”

Lopez will join teammates Kaitlyn Van Surksum, Saige Hollum, Erika Kumm, Erika Medel and Zoe Serres, Norfolk, and Baylee Stockwell, Columbus, on the Hawks’ squad.
