Johnston Brothers Medal For O'Neill At State Cross Country

O'Neill twin brothers Grant and Blake Johnston both captured medals at the state cross country meet Friday afternoon in Kearney.

Grant Johnston (17:18.4) finished sixth or the Eagles, improving on last year's 12th-place finish at state. 
Blake Johnston (17:32.5) was one place back in seventh.

Also for the Eagles, Jonathon Gettert finished 50th (18:50.6), Nathaniel Jennings was 70th (19:31.9), McCoy Strong was 81st (19:52.5) and Zeb O'Bryan was 87th in  20:21.4 

The Eagles finished sixth as a team last year in the boys division. 

In the girls race, Abigail Gillham finished 44th (22:27.3) and Whitney Watson was 79th in 24:53.5.
