Inman Woman Killed On Icy Roads Monday Afternoon

An Inman woman involved in a rollover east of O'Neill has died, according to a press release from the Holt County Sheriff's Office.

According to the report, Kami Sholes, 45 of Inman, was westbound on Highway 20 at approximately 4:15 on Monday when she hit ice as she rounded a curve, striking the guard rail of the Elkhorn River Bridge. The vehicle, a 2002 Ford Ranger, proceeded to roll numerous times, ejecting Sholes. 

She was taken to Avera St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill and then transferred to another facility, where she later died from her injuries.
