Holt County TeamMates Gala To Be Held August 30th; Ricky Simmons Keynote Speaker

The 4th annual Holt County TeamMates Tailgate Gala will be held on Sunday, August 30th at the O’Neill Community Center. The event will celebrate the past year’s successes and raise funds to support new matches and upcoming events. 

Social hour will start at 6:00 pm and dinner at 6:30, with the program following. A silent auction will also be held. All proceeds will benefit the Holt County TeamMates program.

The keynote speaker for the evening is Ricky Simmons. Simmons gives a riveting presentation of his compelling story. From the NFL to prison, he talks candidly and openly about his struggles with and the dangers of substance abuse, and his re-entry into society after hitting bottom. Simmons also speaks to the power of mentorship, and how it can turn lives around.
