O'Neill basketball fans have been spoiled by their talented students this season.
The Lady Eagles currently sit at 8-5, including most recently a win over Wagner.
The Eagles controlled the game from the opening tip, taking a 17-5 lead after the first quarter of play. They took a 31-17 lead into the halftime break before closing out the game strong for a 64-38 win.

As good as the girls have been, the boys have navigated a special season. Sitting at 12-1, the Eagles have beaten the likes of 7-4 Hartington Cedar Catholic, 7-5 Crofton, 8-5 West Holt, 8-5 Boone Central/Newman Grove and most recently Wagner.
O'Neill shot an outstanding 58 percent from the floor, including 8-of-16 from beyond the arc, on their way to a 74-34 win.
Tyler Regan led the Eagles on the day with 18 points on 62 percent shooting. Jake Young added 12 while Justin Appleby and Wyatt Liewer finished with 11 points each.
Appleby did an outstanding job of finding the open man all day, dishing out six assists. Regan pulled in a team high seven boards, dished out four assists and came away with three steals.
