Basic life support renewal class to be offered at NECC-O’Neill

Northeast Community College in O’Neill will offer a renewal class for healthcare providers next month.

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers CPR/AED Renewal (HLTH 5305/16F & CRN #60183) will be held Tuesday, August 9, from 1-5 p.m., in the Northeast Community College Extended Campus, Room 123 at 505 East Highway 20.

The course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. This course is for healthcare professionals who are currently certified in BLS for Healthcare Providers and need to renew certification.

A BLS for Healthcare Providers course certification card will be issued upon successful completion. Participants are asked to bring their current certification card with them the night of class.
Cost of the class, with Rachel Kohlman as the instructor, is $40.
