WEDNESDAY, MARCH 15:
5:30 p.m. – Announcement of the Window Decorating Winners, Tom Hickey Memorial and Irish Walk of Fame Dedication Ceremony at 4th and Douglas
+Painting of the World’s Largest Shamrock following the Dedication Ceremony
+Free Will Donation Pork Feed at Chesterfields after the Painting of the Shamrock to benefit the Irish Walk of Fame
5:30 p.m. – Family Night on the Square during the Shamrock Painting
5:30 p.m. – Girl Scout Troop will help accessorize your little leprechauns near the Shamrock
6:30 p.m. – “Most Festively Dressed” contest in front 414 East Douglas, sponsored by US Cellular
9:00 p.m. – Dave Merkel at Chesterfields sponsored by The Irish Walk of Fame.

THURSDAY, MARCH 16:
9:00 a.m. – Duck Hunt Winners can start bringing in prizes—LIMIT OF 1 DUCK PER HOUSEHOLD.
3:00 p.m. – Second Round of the Duck Hunt at Ford Park—LIMIT OF 1 DUCK PER HOUSEHOLD.
7:00 p.m. – Friends of the Library present “Ellis Island” at the O’Neill Community Center—Doors open at 5:30pm when they will start serving Reuben sandwiches with chips for a free will donation. Cash bar by the O’Neill Knights of Columbus.

FRIDAY, MARCH 17:
10:00 a.m. – Chamber of Commerce Coffee at Pinnacle Bank.
3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. – Kathleen Cavanaugh Artz author of “Popcorn at the Parade”, Book Signing and Reading at O’Neill Public Library. Kathleen is the daughter of Joe Cavanaugh and a 1984 graduate of St. Mary’s.
4:30 p.m. – Fish Fry at the KC Hall, sponsored by the O’Neill Knights of Columbus.
5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – Fun Run Packet Pick Up at St. Mary’s High School, 300 North 4th Street.
5:30 p.m. –  O’Neill Satellite Rotary Club Dodgeball Tournament at the O’Neill Public High School Gym
7:00 p.m. –  Get The Horse Green at Emme’s Shop, 49186 Oliver Road, north of O’Neill
7:30 p.m. –  Tom Sadge as Neil Diamond, Celebrity Impersonator at the O’Neill Community Center
7:00 p.m. –  Chesterfields bands start – Dave Merkel followed by Rock and Roll Damnation (An AC/DC Tribute Band)
9:00 p.m. –  The Rude Band at The Hideaway

SATURDAY, MARCH 18:
8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. – Shamrock Fun Run Registration at St. Mary’s High School
9:00 a.m. to Noon – Post Office Station, St. Pat’s Cache at the Kinkaid Museum at 4th and Douglas
9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. – Children’s Literature Festival featuring “Green Eggs and Ham” at the O’Neill Public Elementary School, 1700 North 4th Street
10:00 a.m. – Shamrock Fun Run starts at St. Mary’s School, 300 North 4th Street
10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. –  First Presbyterian Church of O’Neill Hamburger and Brat stand with Homemade Desserts on the SW corner of 4th and Douglas. Proceeds to benefit local mission projects.
11:00 a.m. – Girl Scout Troop #00149 will help you accessorize your little leprechauns near the Shamrock in downtown O’Neill
11:00 a.m. – Shamrock Fun Run Awards Ceremony at The Golden Age Senior Center on South 4th Street
11:00 a.m. –  Mulligan Stew Feed at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, 300 North 4th Street
11:30 a.m. –  Omaha Pipes and Drums on the World’s Largest Shamrock Noon: Irish Dancers on the World’s Largest Shamrock
12:30 p.m. –  Introduction of the Parade Grand Marshalls and the Crowning of the St. Pat’s King and Queen
1:00 p.m. – Grand Parade with the theme “Cheers to 50 Years”, celebrating 50 Years of the World’s Largest Shamrock
2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Kids Carnival at the ’38 building at 4th and Adams, sponsored by the CLASS Group
3:00 p.m. – Chesterfields bands start – Danny Leger followed by 35th & Taylor and Flannel Channel
4:00 p.m. – Husker Hoops sponsored by the Lion’s Club at O’Neill High School Gym
4:00 p.m. – The Rude Band Matinee at The Hideaway
9:00 p.m. – The Rude Band at the Hideaway


SUNDAY, MARCH 18:
9:00 a.m. –  Shamrock Shootout Birddog Challenge at the O’Neill Gun Club—C Bar Outfitters - Sponsored by Tyler Carson of Cleary Buildings and Biglin’s Mortuary
