Behavioral Health Services Now Available at WHMS

West Holt Medical Services has added Behavioral Health to its full array of health care services.

​Jackie Meyer, a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner is available on Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at West Holt Medical Clinic in Atkinson.

“Behavioral health and physical health can be inter-related. Providing behavioral health in a primary medical care setting can help reduce the stigma of visiting a counselor and lead to improved patient outcomes,” shared Jarrod Wiegman, Family & Internal Medicine Physician at West Holt Medical Clinic.

Patients experiencing anxiety, depression, difficulty sleeping, chronic pain, trauma or adverse childhood experiences are encouraged to make a behavioral health appointment.
