Graveside Services for Marilyn J. Passieux

Private Graveside Services for Marilyn J. Passieux, age 74, of O’Neill, will be held at a later date. Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill are in charge of the arrangements. Marilyn passed away Sunday afternoon, August 23, 2015, at Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital in O’Neill. In Lieu of flowers, please send donations to the First United Methodist Church in O’Neill, NE.

She is survived by one sister and one brother; Darold Strong and wife Beverly of Alda, NE, Beverly Moore and husband Donald of Omaha, NE, Nephews; Daniel Strong of Columbus, NE, Bob Strong of Grand Island, NE, Mark Moore of Omaha, NE, Nieces; Donna Jeffers and husband Steve of Tampa, FL, Karen Gronenthal and husband Bob of Humphrey, NE, Kim Moore Banek of Omaha, NE and several Great, Great-Great, and Great-great-great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marilyn was born on February 6, 1941, in O’Neill, NE, to Elmer and Eleanor (Sparks) Strong. She graduated from O’Neill High School. She then graduated from Norfolk Beauty College. She met Vernon Dee Passieux and they were married on September 11, 1960 at the United Methodist Church in O’Neill. They were married for 53 years before Vernon passed away in November of 2013. Marilyn worked at the O’Neill Nursing Center in Housekeeping. She was a member of the O’Neill United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Eleanor Strong, her husband Vernon, her brother Francis Gene Strong, Sister-In-Law Eula Mae Eppenbach Strong, Nieces; Lori Strong Polt and Pamela Strong Rawlins, and Great Niece Cammie Strong.
