Funeral Services for Wilma Held

Wilma Held, age 87 of Chambers, NE passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Society of Atkinson. 

She was well known for her work in the rodeo circuit, raising both longhorn cattle and horses, as well as her many charitable contributions to the community.  She was also proud of her career as a manager at the Holiday Inn in Grand Island, NE. 

She is survived by her brothers, Richard (Jill) Houchin and Larry (Gerry) Houchin; sister, Marji Hayes; one daughter, Irene (Robert) O’Connell; two sons, Michael (Lori) Johnson, Patrick (Janet) Johnson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husband William Held; son, RV Johnson; daughter Sandra Heldridge; and one granddaughter, Nicole Heldridge. 

She will be lovingly remembered and missed by both her family and the many close friends whom she regarded as such.
