Funeral Services For Randall Burke Stauffer

Funeral Services for Randall Burke Stauffer, age 71, of O’Neill, will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, March 18, 2016, at Page United Methodist Church in Page, NE, with burial in the Page Cemetery. Rev. Stuart Davis will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, March 17, 2016, from 5-8 P.M. at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill, NE. Randall passed away Monday afternoon, March 14, 2016, at the Golden Living Center in O’Neill, NE. Memorials may be made to the family for future designation.

He is survived by his 2 sons; Seth Stauffer and wife Lindy of O’Neill, NE, Dayd Stauffer and wife Sara of Kearney, NE, 3 grandchildren: Braxton, Tate, and Brooks, one sister, Marsha Bauer and husband Ron of Omaha, NE, and one brother, Val Stauffer of Grand Island, NE.

Randall was born on February 21, 1945, in Bend, OR, to Marvin and Elizabeth (Harper) Stauffer. Randy’s family moved to Page, where he attended grade school and later graduated from Page High School in 1963. After High School, Randy worked doing custom farming and haying. He married Judith Lynn Mommsen on September 13, 1974 in Atkinson, NE; they later divorced.

He owned and operated Stauffer Trucking until 2002, when he had to retire due to health reasons. Randy was a motorsports enthusiast, he enjoyed the outdoors, and loved being a father and grandfather. He took great pride in his sons and their young families.

Randy is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Harper, and his brother, Kent Stauffer.
