Funeral Services For Naomi Hartigan

Memorial Services for Naomi J. Hartigan, age 87, of O’Neill, will be at 10:30 A.M., Monday, November 20, 2017, at the Page United Methodist Church.  Memorial Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Memorial Graveside Services will be at 2:00 P.M. in the Inman Cemetery.  Pastor A.G. Turner will officiate.  Naomi passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at the Parkside Manor in Stuart, NE.  Memorials may be made to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill.

Naomi was born on March 16, 1930, in Norfolk, NE, to Herbert and Vivian (Cork) Steinberg.  She graduated from Page High School, then attended Wayne State College and taught school.  She married Paul Hartigan on June 25, 1950, in Page, NE.  To this marriage, 2 children were born, Donelle and Bill.  Due to Paul working road construction, they lived in Iowa and Illinois until 1971.   They then moved southeast of Page and lived on the family farm for many years, until Paul passed away in 1986. She then moved from the farm into Page, where she lived until she moved to the Golden Living Center in 2006.

Naomi had many hobbies throughout the years.  She wrote for the Page and Orchard news for several years, and also worked helping to plan for the Page Alumni Banquets. Naomi was a member of the Page United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards and watching Nebraska Football.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Naomi is survived by her 2 Children: Donelle Hagan and husband Scott, of Bassett, NE, Bill Hartigan and wife Denise of Orchard, NE, 7 Grandchildren:  Justin Hagan and wife Leah, of Bassett, NE, Sarah Schlect and husband Randy, of Clearwater, NE, Jeremy Hagan and wife Jenny of Hickman, NE, Mitch Hagan and wife Taunia of Stapleton, NE, Haylie Babl and husband Ryan of Norfolk, NE, Nathan Hartigan and wife Jamie of Ewing, NE, Alex Hartigan of Springfield, SD, 8 Great Grandchildren, 15 Great Great Grandchildren, Brother-In-Law, Pat Hartigan and wife Sky, of Henderson, NV.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Vivian Steinberg, husband Paul Hartigan, Stepfather John Steinberg, Grandson Jason Hagan, and Daughter-In-Law, Shaylynn Hagan, and Mother-In-Law, Mary Hartigan.
