Funeral Services For Lois Regan

Mass of Christian Burial for Lois Regan, age 92, of Ewing, NE will be 10:30 AM Thursday, September 7, 2017, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Ewing, with burial to follow in the St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Ewing. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with a Parish Rosary at 7PM.  Lois passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Memorials may be given to St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Ewing. Arrangements are under the direction of Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill.

Lois was born on March 17, 1925 in Ewing, NE to Lee and Laura (Robinson) Spittler. She graduated from Ewing High School in 1943. On January 15, 1946 she married Charles (Sam) Regan in Ewing. To this union 8 children were born. They lived in the Ewing area where they ranched.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Ewing, and Christian Mothers.

Lois is survived by her 3 sons, Pat Regan and wife Beth of Ewing, NE, Mike Regan and wife Lynn of Rolla, ND, Bob Regan and wife Julie of O’Neill, NE, 3 daughters, Ann Barry and husband Joe of Battle Creek, NE, Kathy Arp and husband Dale of Kearney, NE, Colleen Sankey and husband Dave of Lincoln, NE, 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Francis Funk and Rosalie Bartak and husband Bob, both Ewing, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Sam, 2 sons, Danny and Jimmy and 2 brothers, Lee and Rich Spittler.
