Funeral Services For Kevin Plessel

Memorial Services for Kevin Plessel, age 57, of O’Neill will be at 11;00 am Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill with burial in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.  Memorial Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Monday, February 13, 2017 at Biglin’s Mortuary with a 6:00 pm prayer service. Kevin passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at his home.  Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill is in charge of arrangements. 

Kevin Eugene Plessel was born on May 9, 1959 in O’Neill to John and Mavis (Strong) Plessel.  He graduated from O’Neill High School in 1977.  Kevin married Michelle Clements on June 29, 1979 in Neligh.  To this union, three children were born, Nicole, Christy, and Ryan.  They later divorced.

Kevin was a driver for Fedex for over 20 years before he had to retire because of heath issues in 2006. 

Kevin was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan.  He also enjoyed fishing and golfing.

Kevin is survived by his three children, Nicole Dempsey and her husband, Shane, of Omaha, Christy King and her husband, Ryan, of Trenton, Ryan Plessel and his wife, Cassandra, of Papillion; and six grandchildren, Rylie, Kamden, Ragen, Ryder, Parker, Penelope.

​He was preceded in death by his father, John Plessel, in 2002 and his mother, Mavis Plessel, in 2011.
