Funeral Services for Audrey Coburn

Funeral Services for Audrey Coburn, age 80, of O’Neill, will be at 10:30 A.M., Monday, September 28, 2015, at First Presbyterian Church in O’Neill, NE. Burial will be in the Phoenix Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, September 28, 2015, from 5-8 P.M. at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill. Rev. Karen Larson will officiate. Audrey passed away Friday, September 25, 2015, at Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital in O’Neill, NE. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church in O’Neill or the Phoenix Cemetery.

She is survived by her children; Susan Sieler and husband Dave of Norfolk, NE, Bruce Coburn of O’Neill, NE, Nancy Lockmon and husband Bob of Aurora, NE, Joel Coburn and wife Kaye, of Atkinson, NE, 9 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren, 1 sister, Doris Marcellus and husband Carroll of Stuart, NE.

Audrey was born in Page, NE, on November 27, 1934, to Forrest and Elsa (Weber) Henderson. She graduated from Ewing High School and attended Wayne State College for 2 years. She married Harold Coburn on June 15, 1957, at the Ewing United Presbyterian Church. He passed away on July 14, 2003 after 46 years of marriage. To this union, 4 children were born: Susan, Bruce, Nancy, and Joel. Audrey was a farm wife, and she took care of the home place. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in O’Neill, the Phoenix Get Together Club, The Town and Country Folks Square Dance Club, and a 4-H Leader. She was also a Deacon in the Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold, 2 brothers, Eldon Henderson and one in infancy.
