Artwork created by artists from across Nebraska will be making its way around the state during next several months. The Association of Nebraska Art Clubs traveling exhibit is currently on display at the O'Neill Public Library, until August 17. The Association of Nebraska Art Clubs is unique in that it is the only club in the United States that supports all the art clubs in the state. ANAC hosts a conference every year where a nationally known artist is invited to judge work from all over the state. The top 25 pieces travel the state, displayed throughout the year. "Time Forgotten." a watercolor on canvas painted by local artist, Kevin McNichols, is also included in this exhibit.
The Ranchland Art Group, which consists of several artists from the Holt and Boyd County area, in cooperation with the O'Neill Public Library, has made this exhibit possible. Be sure to stop by the Library and check out the wonderful works created by these Nebraska artists. |
