Another round of winter weather is expected to strike Northeast Nebraska on Sunday night and last through Monday night, according to the National Weather Service.

A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for Eastern Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas and Western Minnesota and Iowa. Up to 6 inches of snow is possible in Northeast Nebraska.

The storm is expected to develop and increase in intensity Sunday. A mix of freezing rain and sleet will be possible Saturday night, especially in Southeast Nebraska and Southwest Iowa. The area most likely to see snow accumulation is across Northeast Nebraska with "significant amounts" possible, according to the National Weather Service.
