The Holt County Animal Shelter is offering the chance for you to get your dog, cat or bird microchipped this Sunday, June 26.
Pet microchipping is a way to permanently ID your pet in case they get lost. 1 in 3 pets will get lost during its lifetime, according to the Humane Society.
A lifetime microchip will cost $25 and can be registered with petlink.net and the national database.
The microchipping clinic will be at 11:30 a.m. before the annual dog show.
