With a 50-degree difference expected in just hours, meteorologists are warning of blizzard conditions throughout Nebraska and much of the Plains region thanks to an approaching storm system.

According to the Accuweather, the storm will drop snow from Colorado to Michigan and may bring blizzard conditions throughout the area. Temperatures on Tuesday should reach the mid-70s and then drop to the low-20s overnight, leading to potentially severe weather with both thunderstorms, heavy rain and snow all possible.

Antelope County is expected to receive up to 3 inches of snow, but the real threat comes with the 30 mph wind that is predicted with the precipitation, along with the chance of severe weather outbreak as the temperature drops dramatically.
