Holt County wrestling fans will have a busy week at the state tournament at Omaha's CenturyLink Center.

Five O'Neill grapplers will represent the Eagles in the Class C Tournament. Elias Lorenzo earned a trip down after taking third at 113 pounds at the C1 tournament. He will face Spencer Gaffney of Broken Bow in the first round. At 145, Caden Moore took first at districts and will take on Conestoga's Bryan Richard. Cauy Shaw will take the mat at 152 after taking third at districts. He awaits Levi Kult of Yutan. Bailey Thompson will take on Diego Guerrero of Wood River in the first round of 195 pounds. Jason Hahlbeck rounds out the Eagle wrestlers. He will take the mat at 220 pounds against Gibbon's Collin Smyth.

The Class C wrestlers will take the mat on Thursday starting at 4 p.m.

In Class D, St. Mary's and West Holt will each be well represented. For the Cardinals, Jared Atkeson qualified at 152 after taking first at the D2 meet.
