West Holt Medical Services Welcomes New Doctor

Katherine Wiegman, M.D., will be joining West Holt Medical Services at the end of the year.

Dr. Wiegman graduated magna cum laude from the State University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Pre-med. She earned her medical degree from Mercer School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia in 2008.

Dr. Wiegman is board certified in family medicine and board eligible in internal medicine. She completed her residency in 2012 at St. Vincent Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Family Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Wiegman will begin to see patients at West Holt Medical Clinic on December 1, 2016. Dr. Wiegman comes to West Holt Medical Services from Floyd Primary Care in Summerville, Georgia. She has been providing primary care for the whole family and treating a broad range of conditions in private practice for the past four years. She has also served as the Co-Director of Services for Hospice of Southwest Georgia.

She is married to Jarrod Wiegman, M.D., a family and internal medicine physician, who will be starting his practice at West Holt Medical Services on October 1, 2016.
