West Holt golfers come out on top in NVC Golf Tournament

The West Holt High School golf team put forth an impressive display at Tuesday's NVC Golf Tournament, hosted at the Atkinson-Stuart Country Club. The Huskies came out ahead of Elgin Public/Pope John by 35 strokes in the team standings, while the Wolfpack golfers edged out Neligh-Oakdale by just 8 strokes, with a score of 362.

West Holt golfer Alex Fritz managed to win the individual title for his third year in a row, with a score of 78, one stroke lower than teammate Bryce Kerkman. In third place was EPPJ's Chad Bode, with a score of 81, followed by Austyn Ramm-Lech of West Holt at 84, and Mitchell Atkinson from Boyd County at 85.

In total, West Holt had seven golfers win medals, with Neligh-Oakdale having three medal winners, and EPPJ with two.
