Dr. Jarrod Wiegman, M.D. will join West Holt Medical Services this fall.
Dr. Wiegman earned his medical degree in 2005 from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated summa cum laude and obtained a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana in 2001.
He completed his residency in 2009 at St. Vincent Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Wiegman is board certified in family medicine and internal medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Family Medicine and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
Dr. Wiegman comes to West Holt Medical Services from the Floyd Family Medicine Residency program as a faculty member in Rome, Georgia. He provided primary care to patients at Floyd Medical Center and the Family Medicine Residency Center and trained recently graduated physicians. He has been providing primary care for the whole family and treating a broad range of conditions since 2005.
He has also served as the Co-Director of Services for Hospice of Southwest Georgia. Dr. Wiegman will begin to see patients at West Holt Medical Clinic on October 1, 2016. He is married to Katherine Wiegman, M.D., a family physician, who will be starting her practice at West Holt Medical Clinic on December 1, 2016.
