 Newborns less than three months old: recommended range 14-17 hours.
 Infants (between four months old and 11 months old): recommended range 12-15 hours.
 Toddler (one to two years): recommended range 11-14 hours.
 Preschool (three to five years): recommended range 10-13 hours.
 School age (six to thirteen years): recommended range 9-11 hours.
 Teenager (fourteen to seventeen years): recommended range 8-10 hours.
 Young Adults (18-23 years): recommended range 7-9 hours.
 Adults (26-64 years): recommended range 7-9 hours.
 Older Adults (65 and older): recommended range 7-8 hours.

Quality sleep is needed for restoration and renewal of our bodies.
