Jake Judge Finishes Third During Emotional State Meet

It's been a roller-coaster week and emotional state wrestling meet for West Holt senior Jake Judge.

But the 145-pounder kept a positive attitude and ended it on an equally positive note - with a third-place finish.

Judge defeated Elkhorn Valley sophomore Josh McFarland 5-4 to win the bronze medal. Scoreless for most of the match, McFarland held a 2-0 advantage in the third period. Judge responded to knot the score at 2-all before grabbing a 5-2 advantage late. McFarland fought back to within one, but Judge held on for the win.
