Fredrick Leads West Holt Golf To Another Strong Finish

Eddie Fredrick of West Holt had a great day Monday to pace West Holt on their way to a second place finish at the Highway 20 Invite.

Fredrick led all golfers with a round of 80 in Bassett. As a team, the Huskies placed four in the top 20. Blake Hilkemeier and Austin Wenner turned in rounds of 87 and 88, respectively. Brandon Heller finished 18th with a 92. Devon Dohrman finished the day with a score of 96. Brandon Jelinek rounded out the individual results for the Huskies with a 115 for the day.

Ewing posted a team score of 414 to finish eighth in the team standings. Leading the way for the Tigers was Trevor Brummels with a 94 for the day. Justin Napier posted a 99 for the day, while Matt Kurpgeweit finished the day with a 106. Ryan Brummels would finish the day with a 115 for Ewing.

Chambers/Wheeler Central sent three to the invite. Turning in the top day for the Renegades was Jacob Green with a 109. Ross Gribble finished with a 116, while Tate Gartner ended the day with a 119.

The event was the final chance to compete for the golfers before districts next week.
