  The Atkinson Community Foundation Fund (ACFF) is accepting applications from Atkinson residents wishing to attend the Holt County Economic Development’s 2016 HomeTown Leadership Institute (HLI).
Since 2005, this countywide leadership program has helped educate over 150 participants on different aspects of Holt County and has further developed the participants’ personal leadership skills and talent. Participants meet once a month, March through November from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at locations across Holt County. Some of the topics covered are: Dream Manager, local government, strengths-based leadership, local education systems, agriculture in Holt County, economic development/housing and local healthcare systems. ACFF will pay the $175 tuition fee for one applicant to attend the HLI. If you are interested in attending the institute, please call Monique, ACFF Vice-President, at 402- 429-0821. Applicants will be required to fill out the HLI’s application located at www.growholtcounty.com. Applications can be dropped off at West Holt Medical Services at 406 West Neely in Atkinson or mailed to ACFF, PO Box 725, Atkinson, NE 68713 postmarked on or before January 25, 2016.
