The Platte County Sheriff's office arrested a Ewing man for burglary in Lindsay on Saturday morning.
At approximately 5:06 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a burglary at Pfeifers X-press.
Upon arrival, the deputy located the front windows to the establishment to have been broken out for entry into the establishment. It was also determined that several items had been stolen from the establishment to include alcohol, cigarettes and food items.
Shortly before 11:00 A.M., as deputies were following up on an unrelated incident from earlier that morning, they located Dustin L. Fox, 25 of Ewing, at a residence in Lindsay and was in possession of the stolen items from Pfeifers X-press.
Fox was taken into custody and transported to the Platte County Detention Facility.
The Platte County Sheriff’s Office has charged Fox with Burglary for the incident at Pfeifers X-press, as well as Criminal Mischief and Stalking from the unrelated incident.
Fox is currently being held in the Platte County Detention Facility on a $25,000, 10% bond.
The total loss to the Pfeifers X-press establishment, in both damages and stolen property, has yet to be determined.
This incident remains under investigation by the Platte County Sheriff’s Office.
