Stuart volleyball was in action last night in an away triangular with Niobrara/Verdigre and Clearwater-Orchard.
They picked up the first game against the N/V Cougars in two sets 25-10, 25-15.
Against the Cougars they put down 21 kills and picked up 19 digs. The team served an impressive 13 aces, five of them from Junior Harlee Fischer.
Their second game was a close match up with Clearwater-Orchard. They Cyclones pushed them to overtime in the first set, pulling ahead of the Broncos with a set score of 27-29. The Broncos also fell short in the second set 19-25.
The team had 31 kills on the Cyclones and picked up 23 digs. Fischer served 3 of the team's 4 aces against O-C.
This will leave the team at 19-2 for the season. Up next, the Broncos will be on the road this Thursday to take on Ainsworth and Boyd County.
